Заявление Бюро ЦК ЛКСМ РФ в связи с продолжающимися протестами в Соединённых Штатах Америки!
Ленинский коммунистический союз молодёжи Российской Федерации выражает свою солидарность с народными выступлениями в США, вызванными продолжающимся ухудшением уровня жизни трудящихся, массовым ростом безработицы и полицейским произволом в этой стране.
Видеозапись, на которой белый полицейский давит коленом на шею 46-летнего афроамериканца, невзирая на слова о том, что ему нечем дышать, вызвала акции протеста в десятках американских городов. Чернокожий американец Джордж Флойд скончался после того, как полицейские при задержании повалили его на землю, надели на него наручники, а один из них в течение нескольких минут удерживал его, надавливая коленом на шею.
Мы убеждены, что смерть Джорджа Флойда стала лишь катализатором общественного недовольства социальным неравенством в США, порождённым капиталистической системой. При этом мы не поддерживаем действия отдельных криминальных и полукриминальных элементов, использующих народные выступления для грабежей и разбоев.
Эпидемия коронавируса лишь обострила противоречия, имеющиеся в американском обществе. Вновь стало очевидным, что лучшая медицинская помощь оказалась доступной только для представителей буржуазии, а представители рабочего класса, безработные, афроамериканское население, представители многих национальных диаспор вынуждены были довольствоваться лишь минимально оказываемыми медицинскими услугами. Неудивительно, что наибольший процент смертности от COVID-19 зафиксирован в США именно среди афроамериканского населения.
Очередной кризис капитализма, усугубленный пандемией коронавируса, привёл к банкротству или приостановке деятельности многих крупных и мелких компаний, в результате чего миллионы трудящихся США потеряли работу, а доход других существенно упал. При этом топ-менеджмент корпораций, экономя на зарплатах рабочих и осуществляя сокращение штатов, не готов идти на сокращение собственных зарплат и многомиллионных бонусов.
Протесты в США привлекли внимание мировой общественности также в связи с очередным витком разгула полицейского произвола, наблюдающегося не только в США, но и в других странах капитализма, в том числе и в России. Правящие круги идут на усиление полицейщины, чтобы оградить себя от голосов недовольных.
Будучи солидарными с протестами граждан США, мы в очередной раз заявляем, что бедность, безработица, насилие и расизм – это родовые пятна капитализма!
Только решительный слом прогнившей капиталистической системы и строительство социалистического общества позволит обеспечить достойную жизнь и защиту прав трудящегося населения во всём мире!

Poverty, unemployment, violence and racism are the birthmarks of capitalism!
Statement by the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Leninist Komsomol of the Russian Federation in connection with the ongoing protests in the United States of America.
The Leninist Communist Youth Union of the Russian Federation expresses its solidarity with the popular protests in the United States caused by the continuing deterioration in the living standards of workers, the massive increase in unemployment and police arbitrariness in this country.
The video, in which a white policeman presses his knee on the neck of a 46-year-old African-American, despite the words that he has nothing to breathe, provoked protests in dozens of American cities. A black American, George Floyd, died after the police threw him to the ground during his arrest, handcuffed him, and one of the officers held him for several minutes, pressing the knee on his neck.
We are convinced that the death of George Floyd was only a catalyst for public dissatisfaction with social inequality in the United States, generated by the capitalist system. At the same time, we do not support the actions of criminal and semi-criminal elements that use popular uprisings for looting and robberies.
The coronavirus epidemic only exacerbated the contradictions in American society. Once again, it became obvious that the best medical care was available only to representatives of the bourgeoisie, and representatives of the working class, the unemployed, the African American population, and representatives of many national diasporas were forced to be content with only minimally provided medical services. It is not surprising that the highest percentage of deaths from COVID-19 was recorded in the United States precisely among the African American population.
The current crisis of capitalism, exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic, led to the bankruptcy or suspension of the activities of many large and small companies, as a result of which millions of US workers lost their jobs and the income of others fell significantly. At the same time, the top management of corporations, saving on workers’ salaries and effecting staff reductions, is not ready to cut their own salaries and multi-million bonuses.
Protests in the United States have attracted the attention of the world community also in connection with the next round of rampant police arbitrariness, observed not only in the United States, but also in other capitalist countries, including Russia. The ruling circles are strengthening police brutality to protect themselves from the voices of the discontented masses.
Being in solidarity with the protests of US citizens, we once again declare that poverty, unemployment, violence and racism are the birthmarks of capitalism!
Only a decisive demolition of the rotten capitalist system and the building of a socialist society will ensure a decent life and protection of the rights of the working population around the world!
